catering to the needs of the society, environment and the nation.
The mission of the Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering Department is to provide
with a foundation in Electronics and Instrumentation, and the underlying mathematics and science, and to provide excellent opportunity with strong moral sense of social and ethical responsibilities, in order to build up professionally competent engineers through value-added teaching, learning and research environment.
The key objective is to provide state of the art infrastructure and a facilitating environment toward
quality education and promote high standards of professional ethics, transparency and accountability. Department fosters establishing value creating networks with alumni, industries,
educational institutes and other stake-holders and encourages collaborative research and consultancies with industries.
1. Graduates of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering department are expected to excel in professional career or pursue higher education and research or in entrepreneurship by acquiring sound knowledge in basic science, mathematics and core engineering.
2. Graduates of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering department are expected to abide by professional code of conduct, following the principles of financial management, possessing sound communication skills and ready to take leadership or have enough tolerance to act as a simple and indispensable member of a multicultural team working on a multi-disciplinary project.
3. Graduates of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering department are expected to be a good citizen, conscious about the society and environment, respect for professional ethics and values and quality to adapt in the fast changing society through life-long learning.
a.  Apply principles of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and specialized knowledge in electronics and instrumentation to the solution of complex engineering problems.
b. Identify, formulate and analyze various complex engineering problems.
c. Prescribe solution for complex engineering problems and design/develop eco-friendly devices to cater the needs of society.
d. Use research based knowledge to conduct investigation of complex problem and draw valid conclusion.
e. Use modern tools, both software and hardware for modeling, analyzing and providing solutions for complex engineering
f. Apply engineering knowledge in workplace in particular and society at large such as community health and hygiene, personnel and community safety, keeping in mind cultural and legal issues involved.
g. Devise instruments and implement projects which are socially acceptable and compatible to the environmental protection leading to sustainable development.
h. Abide by ethical principles and professional code of conduct while carrying out responsibility as professional engineers.
i. Take responsibilities individually or as a leader and also have enough humility to act as a member of an assorted multi-disciplinary team.
j. Cognize and demonstrate effective communication skills on complex engineering activities through technical report writing, presentation and communicate with engineering community and society at large.
k. Manage projects and prescribe solutions to minimize project costs in a multi-disciplinary venture.
