Greetings from Dr.B.C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur (BCREC¸ Durgapur), Training and Placement Cell!

BCREC has a large pool of talent to recruit from, with a wide range of courses being offered at UG and PG levels. At present in the engineering faculty, we have 9 departments-CSE, IT, ECE, EE, ME, CIVIL, CSD, CSE-AIML & CSE-Data Science  at UG level and 4 specializations at PG level- ECE, Power System Engineering, CSE and Mechanical Engineering. We also offer MBA and MCA courses.

At BCREC, we the Training and Placement Team, provide assistance towards the end of making our employable students placed. Not only do we conduct On-campus placement drives, but also assist when they participate in Pooled campus drives and Off-campus recruitment initiatives. From curating an industry-worthy resume to guiding a student through the final stages of joining, we assistthe students.

We arrange for the training modules for students which combines Aptitude (Numerical & Analytical), Technical, Interpersonal Skills Development, and Programming/Coding. We train our students with our in house training team and make them industry ready. We arrange for Online Mock Tests and Grooming classes conducted by external agencies. We provide support for Vocational Training (VT) and Industrial Training (IT) to the students of different departments.

Our Training and Placement Cell consists of full time Professionals and it operates from Kolkata and it also supported by a team of Faculty functioning within the Durgapur  Campus who monitor and mentor pre-placement students with respect to their Domain as well as Soft Skills Training.
