| SENTIMENT-AWARE STOCK TRADING BOT USING REINFORCEMENT LEARNING | PRIYANKA ROY | Chennai | 05-09-2025 | PUBLISHED | INDIA | 202541075069 | The invention presents a sentiment-aware automated trading framework that fuses real-time sentiment interpretation with a reinforcement-learning trading engine. Central to the architecture is a sentiment extraction module that generates sentiment scores from diverse unstructured sources—namely financial news articles, social media feeds, and thematic blogs. Concomitantly, a market data unit collects conventional technical indicators alongside price time series. The resultant sentiment and market parameters are reconciled within a feature aggregation unit, yielding a coherent market state representation. A reinforcement-learning trading agent then operates upon this representation, selecting among the discrete actions of buying, selling, or holding, with the objective of maximising expected cumulative returns. This objective is qualified by penalties for transaction costs and by the modulation of actions according to current market volatility. A risk management sub-layer monitors exposure and dynamically adjusts position sizing. The architecture accommodates both high-fidelity simulation environments and live trading terminals. By integratively modelling qualitative sentiment alongside quantitative indicators, the presented framework delivers a context-sensitive and robust strategy for algorithmic trading. | |

| Deep Reinforcement Learning for Energy-Efficient Computation Offloading with DVFS for Time-Critical IoT Applications in Edge Computing | PRIYANKA ROY | IN-UP75020767738770V | DELHI / MUMBAI / CHENNAI / KOLKATA | 01-09-2023 | PUBLISHED | INDIA | 202341046984 | Internet of Things (IoT) is a steadily growing industry. It investigates the infrastructure and protocols that allow large and tiny computers to connect to the Internet, share data, and utilise it. As a consequence of this knowledge, people's interactions with their surroundings are evolving. It lays the groundwork for new applications and services that will streamline and accelerate manual tasks. Everything in this composition is intricately intertwined. The majority of the time, Internet of Things-connected devices generate a great deal of data. These devices previously transmitted data to centralised cloud servers. These servers provided the computing power for Cloud Computing (CC). This strategy has a number of drawbacks, including longer wait times, an increased demand for network speed, concerns about privacy and security, and so on. Edge Computing (EC) complements the potent cloud servers in the data centre. It offers tremendous processing power near to the data source, accelerates data transfer, and maintains privacy. Small, battery-powered Internet of Things devices are a significant problem because they consume a great deal of energy. In recent years, the Internet of Things (IoT) community has become increasingly concerned with its energy consumption. This has resulted in a variety of strategies for reducing energy consumption while meeting the increasing demand for computing capacity. When it comes to energy consumption, the central processing unit (CPU) of the computer ranks first. DVFS, which stands for "dynamic voltage and frequency scaling," is a power-saving method employed by modern computers. In this thesis, we demonstrate how to construct an offloading method for a distributed vector file system (DVFS) using reinforcement learning at the edge. Our objective is to discover ways to increase the electrical efficiency of IoT devices. Experiment results indicate that this method can reduce energy consumption while still conducting the application and service-required computing tasks. The proposed method performs better than the native Linux governors in terms of energy efficiency. The average quantity of energy used decreases by 5% when compared to on-demand governors and by 9.5% when compared to conservative governors. |
| IOT BASED APPLE SWEETNESS MEASUREMENT AND FRUIT DISEASEPREDICTION USING IMAGE PROCESSING TECHNIQUES AND DEEPLEARNING BASED ON HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERACTION FORINDUSTRY 4.0 | RAM PRASAD CHAKRABORTY | 202341015772 | kolkata | 17-03-2023 | Published | india | 202341015772 | Disease identification is one of the most difficult elements of agricultural research. When attempting to diagnose a plant's ailment, agricultural specialists usually reference a range of resources. Misdiagnosing ill plants can occasionally lead to the unnecessary administration of pesticides, which can have catastrophic effects on agriculture. Automated disease detection systems are the primary means of increasing their use and obtaining more precise and early disease diagnosis. This is significant for farmers because the alternative is time-consuming and costly. In order to successfully separate the diseased leaf from the healthy leaves, it must be cut into little pieces. Digital noise, which varies from image to image and is influenced by variables such as background, shape, and brightness, making it more difficult to identify a sick photo. To improve the image quality of apple leaf scans so that diseases can be identified and classified, the brightness preserving dynamic fuzzy histogram equalisation technique was created.Determine an apple's flavour by tasting it and examining its leaves. In the following section, we will compare the effectiveness of the proposed strategy to that of other common techniques for improving things. By isolating the area of interest in pictures of sick leaves against a green background, our method surpasses existing segmentation techniques. Examining the Jaccard index, the Dice coefficient, and the precision at this time. The suggested segmentation methodology outperforms the best existing techniques. It is 99.8 percent accurate in distinguishing apple ill leaves from a living backdrop. |

| AI AND THE INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT) ARE USED TOGETHER TO MAKE A SAFE ROUTING ALGORITHM FOR MOBILE AD-HOC NETWORKS THAT SAVES ENERGY | MD KERAMOT HOSSAIN MONDAL | IPR INDIA .KOLKATA | 09-11-2022 | Published | india | 202241064060 | ABSTRACT Numerous new devices that can be used to monitor and manage a variety of systems are accelerating the development of electronic technology. The proliferation of Internet of Things devices is intimately associated with the development of information and communication technologies over the past several decades. The information gathered by WSNs, which are comprised of low-cost smart devices, is crucial to the expansion of the Internet of Things. Low power loss networks and wireless sensor networks are two of the most vital components of the Internet of Things. As AI advances and more people adopt it, wireless sensors are more incorporated into networks and industrialised. As a result of the routing strategy's high energy consumption, different network nodes consume varying amounts of energy. This difficulty is resolved by the algorithm protocol's inclination to converge on the local optimal solution. | |
| The Random Forest tree classifier algorithm is used in machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) to detect fake profiles in social networks | MD KERAMOT HOSSAIN MONDAL | 202241062670 | kolkata | 02-11-2022 | Published | india | 202241062670 | False profiles can assist APTs, as well as other types of cybercrime. They have a crucial influence in the occurrence of these risks. This project's major objective is to develop methods for detecting fake social media profiles. There are two methods for detecting fraudulent social media profiles: examining the material on the profile and examining the account itself. According to the majority of persons, the most harmful component of cybercrime is the creation of fake profiles on social networking sites. This violation must be identified prior to notifying the user that a fake account has been established. In the relevant literature, there are several ways and suggestions for detecting fake profiles. This article addresses the role of false identities in APTs and the many approaches for identifying phoney social media profiles that have been proposed by various individuals. To distinguish which profiles are genuine and which are fraudulent, we will examine the efficacy of three supervised machine learning methods. |
