Historical Alliance between Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College and Durgapur Government College

Durgapur Government College signs Memorandum of Understanding with Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College on 3rd October, 2024.

The MOU is regarding the collaborations in respect of research and academic exchanges between the two colleges. Dr. Debnath Palit, Principal, Durgapur Government College and Dr. Sanjay S.Pawar, Principal, Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College signs the MOU in the presence of Mr. Tarun Bhattacharya, General Secretary of Dr. B. C. Roy Society, Prof.(Dr.)Saikat Maitra, Chief Advisor, Dr. B. C. Roy Society, Prof.(Dr.)Samir Samanta , Principal , Dr.B.C.Roy College of Pharmacy & AHS, and Prof.(Dr.) Mrinmoy Chakraborty , Head (ECE Department, BCREC) .

Dr. Nandita Acharjee, Coordinator, NAAC and Coordinator, DBT Star College Scheme, Govt. of India and Prof.(Dr.)Samir Samanta , Principal , Dr.B.C.Roy College of Pharmacy & AHS signs in the MOU as the witness.

Dr. Sanjay S.Pawar and Dr. Palit both expresses their hope that this MOU will go a long way to benefit the students of both the colleges.

Dr. Saikat Maitra said that it is very unique that Government financed institution and self financed institution came together for collaborative academic and research activities for the sake of the students. He says that higher academic Institutions should explore to create job givers instead of job seekers to make the country self reliant. He says that problems should be converted to opportunities. Young generation should be motivated to set up start up through technological application to convert our vast natural resources into products.
