A Futuristic Workshop on Vikshit Bharat

Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College organised a workshop on Vikshit Bharat for its third and final year students as part of its yearlong Silver Jubilee Celebration on 27th September, 2024 at its Dulal Mitra Auditorium. The workshop was held in collaboration with SAIL (DSP - ISP) as an Academia - Industry partnership. The Chief Guest and the keynote speaker of the workshop was Shri B. P. Singh , Director In Charge, DSP/ISP, SAIL, Durgapur.

Mr. Singh explained to the student participants their prospective roles in deciding the national priorities and goal besides the formulation of national plan using the platform of Vikshit Bharat. Students as the young force of the country are sought to contribute to the vision of Vikshit Bharat@2047 with their innovative ideas and concepts which is the dream of the Prime Minister of India.

Mr. Singh also advised the students to prepare themselves with the changing trends and needs of the industries.

Mr. B. P. Singh was felicitated by the General Secretary of Dr. B. C. Roy Society Mr. Tarun Bhattacharya and the Chief Advisor of BCREC Dr. Saikat Maitra with Uttario and Memento respectively. Welcome address was delivered by the Principal of BCREC Dr. Sanjay S. Pawar. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Suneeta De.
