Dr. B C Roy Engineering College Celebrates National Youth Day 2025

Dr. B C Roy Engineering College, celebrated National Youth Day on January 12, 2025, in their college campus to honor the 162nd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The event was marked by enthusiasm, reverence, and inspiring messages, promoting Swami Vivekananda's ideals among the youth.

The program commenced with a soulful song performed by Prof. Priyanka Roy, setting a harmonious tone for the occasion. Floral tributes were paid to Swami Vivekananda by Principal of Dr. B.C Roy Engineering College prof. (Dr.) Sanjay S. Pawar, Principal of Dr. B. C. Roy Academy of Professional Courses Prof. (Dr.) Rajib Roy, Dr. B C Roy Polytechnic College, Prof. (Dr.) Chandan Kumar Ghosh, Mrs. Sadhana Sikdar, a member of the Dr. B C Roy Society, and other dignitaries.

The NCC team of the college added to the spirit of the day by honoring Swami Vivekananda through their disciplined presence and dedication.

The Principals of the institutions under the Dr. B C Roy Society – Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay S. Pawar, Prof. (Dr.) Rajib Roy of Dr. B C Roy Academy of Professional Courses, and Prof. (Dr.) Chandan Kumar Ghosh – delivered valuable speeches, emphasizing Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and encouraging students to imbibe his values of confidence, dedication, and service.

Students actively participated in the event, paying tribute to Swami Vivekananda and reflecting on his message of self-belief and nation-building.

The program concluded with another captivating song by Prof. Priyanka Roy, leaving everyone inspired to carry forward the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.

In another event , Dr Saikat Maitra , Chief Advisor of Dr. B.Roy Society flagged off a rally dedicated to Swamiji in Kolkata 
along with other dignitaries present at the event.
