The commemoration began with a heartfelt floral tribute to the statue of Rabindra Nath Tagore at the BCREC campus, by distinguished personalities including Mr. Tarun Bhattacharya, General Secretary of Dr. B. C. Roy Society, Mrs. Sadhana Sikder, Society Member, Dr. Sanjay S. Pawar, Principal (BCREC), Dr. Rajib Roy, Principal (BCRAPC), U. K. Sharna, Sr. Manager (Estate & Corporate Affairs), Mr. Dhrubojyoti Mukherjee, Campus Administrato and several esteemed faculty members, officers, students, and staff members.
The celebration continued at Albert Einstein Hall, where Dr. Sanjay S. Pawar and Dr. Rajib Roy reflected on Tagore's timeless legacy, his literary brilliance, and his ever-relevant contributions to society with their brief speeches.
The atmosphere brimmed with admiration as faculty members and students paid homage through soulful songs, captivating dances, and mesmerizing recitations, weaving a cultural tapestry rich in love and respect for Gurudev. With 18 inspiring performances, the event stood as a testament to the institution’s deep reverence for Tagore’s work and wisdom.
