Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College Conferred Grand Felicitation to Two Renowned Doctors of Durgapur.

Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College celebrated Doctors’ Day, 2025 in a different manner keeping in line with its yearlong Silver Jubilee events. On the occasion, apart from garlanding the statue of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, two distinguished Doctors of Durgapur were felicitated for their invaluable lifetime service to the society.   The two renowned doctors were Dr. Bidyut Baran Senapati, Senior General Physician and Dr. Malay Nandi, Senior Child Specialist.

They were handed over mementoes of silver jubilee and Certificates of felicitation by Mr. Tarun Bhattacharya, General Secretary of the Dr. B. C. Roy Society, Prof. Saikat Maitra, Chief Advisor of the Society, Mr. Jernail Singh Treasurer of the Society, Mrs. Mita Mitra, Vice President of the Society and other distinguished members of the society like Mrs. Sadhana Sikdar, Mrs. Rita Singh and Dr. Ankita Mitra.

Mr. Tarun Bhattacharya said that the society was feeling honoured to felicitate these two renowned doctors on this occasion of silver jubilee year which will add more glamour to the events being organized throughout the year.

Dr. Sanjay S. Pawar, Principal of BCREC welcomed the guests in his brief speech.

Dr. Bidyut Baran Senapati and Dr. Malay Nandi both expressed their gratitude to Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College for the honour conferred upon them.
