Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College organized a grand Education Conclave "EduSaksham 2025" as a part of its yearlong Silver Jubilee celebrations on 4th August, 2025 at Bipin Chandra Pal Hall of Srijani, Durgapur. The theme of the event was “Bridging the Knowledge and Innovation”, aiming to enrich inquisitive young minds and promote educational growth of the school students.

The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of about 100 students from different eminent schools of Durgapur. The conclave was divided into four panel discussions, each led by prominent figures including Principals, Headmasters, Headmistresses and School’s psychological Counsellors as panellists who shared their wisdom and insights and guidance on diverse educational topics. The topics of the four panel’s were, IMPACT OF AI IN SCHOOL EDUCATION, IMPORTANCE OF SKILL TRAINING IN SCHOOL EDUCATION, NEP-2020 IN SCHOOL EDUCATION, and IMPORTANCE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELLING IN SCHOOL EDUCATION.

The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Sanjay S. Pawar, Principal of BCREC. This was followed by a keynote speech delivered by Prof. Saikat Maitra, Former Vice Chancellor of MAKAUT, West Bengal and Chief Advisor of the Dr. B. C. Roy Society. Mr. Tarun Bhattacharya, General Secretary of the society and the others members of society such as Mrs Rita Singh, Mrs Sadhana Sikdar and the others faculties and staff of the college felicitated all panellists and esteemed guests.

Interactive sessions including Q&A rounds and quizzes were held at the end of every panel discussion, engaging the students and making the event highly enthusiastic, interactive and enriching.
