Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Dr. B. C. Roy Academy of Professional Courses, Dr. B. C. Roy College of Pharmacy & Allied Health Sciences, and Dr. B. C. Roy Polytechnic celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on their campus.
At the BCREC campus, the National Flag was jointly unfurled by Dr. Sanjay S. Pawar, Principal, BCREC, and Dr. Rajib Roy, Principal, BCRAPC. The occasion was graced by a splendid ceremonial march by the NCC Battalion of BCREC, adding dignity to the celebration.

The programme was graced by  Dr. Satyajit Bose, President (BCREC Society), Ms. Mita Mitra, Vice President, Ms. Rita Singh, Assistant Secretary, and Ms. Sadhana Sikdar, Society Member. Inspiring addresses were delivered by the Principals and Dr. Satyajit Bose, encouraging students and citizens alike to uphold dedication, responsibility, and integrity in nation-building. NCC cadets were also felicitated with ranks for their commendable achievements. 

Following NCC cadets were confered ranks by Dr. Satyajit Bose, Mita Mitra, Rita Singh, the President, Vice President and Assistant Secretary of the BCREC Society respectively and Dr. Sanjay S. Pawar, Dr. Rajib Roy, Principal, BCREC and BCRAPC respectively and Rajesh Chatterjee, General Manager, Administration: MADHAV RAJ, KRISHNA GUPTA as Senior Under officer, GOPAL KUMAR, VISHWAJEET SINGH MANHAS, SHOVAN KUNDU as Under Officer, ABHINASH GHOSH, ARADHANA RANI as Sergeant and 
SAURABH KUMAR as Corporal. 

Simultaneously, Republic Day was celebrated separately at BCRCP and BCRP, where the National Flag was unfurled by Dr. Samir Kumar Samanta, Principal of BCRCP and Dr. Arijit Kumar Banerji, Principal of BCRP. Students, faculty, and staff actively participated, making the event truly memorable.

 This year’s Republic Day theme marked the 150th Anniversary of “Vande Mataram”, reminding us of our rich heritage and timeless patriotism.
