As a part of the learning for students, the Civil Engineering Department of Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur organized an industrial visit to Ultratech Rajarhat RMC Plant on 25.03.2026 with a strength of 52 Civil Engineering students. This initiative was taken under the MOU signed between Ultratech and BCREC.
The visit was accompanied by Senior Technical Assistants Adityaprasad Roy and Ajitesh Bhattacharya, along with faculty members Amit Kotal and Pranoy Roy.
Students gained practical exposure to RMC production, batching operations, and quality control processes. It was a proud moment to see our alumni working professionally at the plant, warmly recognized by Plant Head Shri Amit Thapa. Special thanks to Pijus Mandal and Subhadeep Mondal for explaining plant operations and guiding the students.
We sincerely thank Ultratech Rajarhat RMC Plant for supporting this valuable industry–academia collaboration.
