A system and method for the development of IOT based smart Helmet for the mining personnel India 20-06-2025 PUBLISHED India 202531055428 The present invention relates a system and method for the development of an IOT based smart safety helmet for miners in the mining industry. The system incorporates the different gas sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, pressure sensor. An Arduino Uno Microcontroller is used for processing data from various sensors, enabling quick precise-decision making in response to changing environmental conditions. The miner along with the helmet may move any place inside the mine and the different sensors assembled with the helmet will be continuously sense and analyse the permissible limit for each of the parameters. Whenever , there will be any deviation from the permissible limit , the IOT base system will trigger the buzzer to alert the surrounding people and at the same time , the information of faults under the mine is sent to the control room personnel suing the s.m.s through GSM module. These real time data are stored in cloud server and easily accessible to the control room duty officer. The buzzer in the control room upon receipt of the s.m.s will alert the control room person and immediately the rescue team will be deputed based on the location of the endangered people. 20-06-2035
