| A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOW COST LOWNOISE PORTABLE EEG SIGNAL ACQUISITION SYSTEM | A61B5/369, A61B5/31 | intellectual property IndiaThe patent office, Government of India | 27-12-2024 | Published | India | 202431100682 A | An electroencephalogram (EEG), is a noninvasive method to record the activity of the brain to treat or detect several brain diseases and disorders. Noise signals as high as μV level, when inserted into the EEG signal, lead to decreases in the common mode rejection ratio, and signal-to-noise ratio. An EEG signal acquisition system (ESAS) is an EEG sensor/electrode, instrumentation amplifier, filtering circuits, analog to digital converters, data acquisition cards, and signal processing algorithms for EEG-based brain disease detection. An efficient ESAS is developed based on the selection of proper low-pass filters, instrumentation amplifiers, bandpass filters, notch filters, and multi-stage amplifiers. The system and methodology of the current invention will involve the development of an economical, low-noise, and portable electroencephalogram (EEG) signal collection system to increase the accessibility and effectiveness of monitoring neurophysiological signals. The device encompasses high-precision signal conditioning and amplification elements, following a noise-resistant analog front end to ensure that brainwave signals are captured with high precision. It performs sophisticated noise suppression techniques, using adaptive filtering and common mode interference in mitigation techniques, to reduce artifacts and ambient noise. Adaptive signal calibration and artifact elimination algorithms are incorporated into the approach to enhance signal reliability and utility. This innovation addresses the major limitations of conventional EEG systems: their extraordinary cost, complexity and signal quality, portability, friendliness, and democratization through massive cost reduction and simplification. Included are cognitive research, medical diagnostics, and neuromonitoring in resource-limited environments. The system is validated in experimental tests to be capable of recording and interpreting EEG data reliably in the presence of perturbations favorable for designing more advanced EEG solutions. This innovation democratizes EEG technology access, improving real-time analysis and application scalability. | 27-12-2025 |
| APPARATUS FOR INGESTION OF MOLECULAR HYDROGEN USING ELECTROLYSIS | 181711 | The patent office, Government of India | 01-10-2024 | Published | India | 420048-001 | Molecular hydrogen exerts biological effects on nearly all organs. It has anti-oxidative, anti- inflammatory, and anti-aging effects and contributes to the regulation of autophagy and cell death. As the primary organ for gas exchange, the lungs are constantly exposed to various harmful environmental irritants. Short- or long-term exposure to these harmful substances often results in lung injury, causing respiratory and lung diseases. An increasing number of studies have revealed that hydrogen may protect the lungs from diverse diseases, including acute lung injury, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, lung cancer, pulmonary arterial hypertension, and pulmonary fibrosis. In light of the above, the design of a composite and portable device is the need of the hour. In this design we have designed a device inside of which there are two electrodes (cathode and anode) kept in a chamber where a constant supply of water is maintained along with the suitable electrolytes. With the help of a controlled voltage/current supply, the electrolysis of water is taken place and the molecular hydrogen is produced and that is filtered and taken out to one chamber. This chamber is connected to cannula through which any person can inhale (i.e. ingestion of molecular hydrogen) the molecular hydrogen and be relaxed from stress/diseases etc. Once the system is switched on , electrolysis is started and the voltage/current level is adjusted through the internal microcontroller based circuit for maintaining the flow /production of molecular hydrogen .The start/stop switch ,voltage /current setting knob and the display of the current/voltage level is very important and incorporated in the design . | 01-10-2034 |
