I am Raja Dey, an Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering (AIML) at Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur, with over 16 years of academic experience. I am currently pursuing my PhD from NIT Durgapur and qualified UGC-NET in June, 2024. My academic background includes B. Tech in CSE (Govt. College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Serampore, WBUT) and M.E. in Multimedia Development from Jadavpur University in West Bengal. My core areas of interest include Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models. I have contributed to research and innovation through multiple patent publications, book authorship, and academic projects. I have served in various academic and administrative roles including training and placement coordination and NBA accreditation activities. I am passionate about teaching, research, and developing practical AI-driven solutions for real-world problems.

Advanced areas of Artificial Intelligence, particularly Large Language Models, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision. My research work is centered on building efficient neural architectures and intelligent systems capable of performing high-level reasoning, perception, and decision-making tasks.
