ech Fest is an integral part of any engineering college, and at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, it's an eagerly awaited event. It's the perfect opportunity for students to showcase their innovative ideas and concepts. Unlike other fests, the Tech Fest is a celebration of knowledge and skills.
This year, Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College held its Tech Fest, Horizon 2k25, from the 27th to the 28th of February, 2025. In light of the ongoing Silver Jubilee Celebration of the college, this year's fest featured several novel events from the inauguration to the model presentations. The inauguration was graced by Dr. Gautam Chattopadhyay, Senior Scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of NASA, and Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Chancellor of Jadavpur University. Students and faculty were enthralled by the insights on space and artificial intelligence shared by both dignitaries.
The fest was a vibrant blend of various events, including Techackatron, Onspotquizz, Cine Tricks and Animation Movie, Game of Thrones, Papyrus, Robotrix, Circuitrix, Y-Combinator, Code it Now, Bug Bounty, HackMaze, Build India, Startup Synergy, Mechvation, Vertiquest, and the Virtual Visionary Battle.
