Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College organized a grand HR Conclave on 25th July, 2025 as a part of their yearlong Silver Jubilee celebration at the Dulal Mitra Auditorium bringing together famous HR professionals from core and software sectors. The theme of the event was "Workforce 2030: Shaping the Next Gen. Talent Frontiers." The conclave aimed to guide students on how to develop themselves to meet the current job market's demands of skills and become more employable.

The Welcome address was delivered by the Principal of BCREC Prof. Sanjay S. Pawar. Following this, Mr. Tarun Bhattacharya, General Secretary, Prof. Saikat Maitra, Chief Advisor, Mr. Jernail Singh, Treasurer of the Society, Mrs. Rita Singh, Assistant. Secretary of the society and The Principal of BCREC felicitated the panellists. Mr. Tarun Bhattacharya, thanked all the panellists for joining this conclave.

The keynote address for the first panel was delivered by Mr. Anurag Kirti, Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Lead (India) Xerox – Lexmark.

The theme was "Bridging the Campus–Corporate Gap: What IT Companies Expect from Fresh Graduates?" The first session of the panel discussion was attended by the experts from software sectors. They were Mr. Avik Chakraborty, HR Manager, Campus Recruitments & Engagements (East India) Cognizant, Mr. Abhisek Dutta, Regional Lead, Technical Campus Hiring (East India) Wipro, Mr. Sharthak Acharjee, Head – Campus Recruiter & Lead Enterprise Sales (Germany, Austria, Switzerland Region) Celebal Technologies, Ms. Rituparna Dhar, Senior Specialist Talent Acquisition LTI Mindtree, and Ms Anushka Ghosh, Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition, LTI Mindtree. The session was moderated by Mr. Deepraj Mondal, Manager Training and Placement Cell, BCREC. The panellists interacted with the students and provided valuable insights into the skills and attributes companies seek in young professionals.

The theme of the second session was "Reimagining Careers in the Core Sector: Challenges, Competencies, and Opportunities in the Era of AI Disruption and Geopolitical Context." The second session of the panel discussion was attended by the experts from core sectors.

They were Mr. Supratik Mukherji, Head - Business HR, Maithon Power Limited, Mr. Pramod Kumar Swain, Associate Vice President, Supreme Industries Ltd, Mr. Supratim Sinha HR Manager Adhunik Corporation Limited and Mr. Srikanth Gedala DGM –HR of DVC DSTPS, Andal. The second session was moderated by Dr. Sandip Mukherjee, Associate Professor, BCREC.    

The event concluded with the National Anthem, marking the end of a successful and inspiring day for both students and faculty.
