The Department of Civil Engineering, Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College Durgapur has provided consultancy services for the various ongoing construction projects as well as projects that has already been concluded in the surrounding places of Durgapur. on 12.11.2024, we had the opportunity to visit two of Essar Oil's extraction sites—one located in Paranganj and the other in Malandighi. Our team members (Dr. Shovan Roy, Dr. Sayantan Dutta and Mr. Ajitesh Bhattacharya) conducted on-site soil testing and provided them the reports as a part of the consultancy services. This visit allowed us to assess the soil and environmental conditions, ensuring that the land remains safe and sustainable for construction purposes. It’s always rewarding to contribute to projects that focus on both efficiency and environmental responsibility. We have already worked with Esser Oil in the past. Looking forward to the next steps and collaborating further to support the ongoing construction works in maintaining high standards of safety and sustainability.
