The Department of MCA at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College successfully hosted a week-long Faculty Development Programme from 13th January to 17th January, 2025 at its seminar hall. The event featured Mr. Anjan Chowdhury, MD of Skillfinity and an esteemed member of E & ICI Academy, IIT Guwahati, as the resource person.
The programme was inaugurated by our Principal, Dr. Sanjay S. Pawar, in the presence of Dr. Pabitra Kumar Dey, Head of MCA. We were thrilled to have 39 faculty members from Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Dr. B. C. Roy Academy of Professional Courses, Dr. B. C. Roy College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences, and Dr. B. C. Roy Polytechnic in attendance.
Throughout the week, participants engaged in twelve insightful sessions, including hands-on activities designed to enhance their teaching effectiveness in the classroom. The valedictory ceremony, held on 17th January, was graced by Dr. Sanjay Sengupta, IQAC Coordinator of BCREC.
Special thanks to our FDP coordinators, Dr. Pabitra Kumar Dey (HOD, MCA) and Pradipta Pal (Assistant Professor, MCA), for their dedication and hard work in making this event a grand succes.
