About Me	Dr. Kushal Roy is currently working at the Department of Mathematics, Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur. He completed M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences from The University of Burdwan. His broad research area is Functional Analysis and Topology and he is currently doing research in Fixed Point Theory. His research is devoted mainly in finding fixed points of new contractive mappings defined over different metric like structures and their applications in several branches of Mathematics, such as, nonlinear and fractional differential equations, nonlinear and fractional integral equations, system of linear and nonlinear equations, functional equations arising in mathematical biology, algebraic stability of functional equations, homotopy, geometry etc. He published forty four research papers in various international and national journals and two book chapters. He participated and presented research papers in seven national and international seminars and also attended three faculty development programs till now.
