Passionate about transformative education and hands-on innovation, I serve as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur. Over the past twenty-two years I have cultivated a classroom culture where curiosity drives discovery—whether students are exploring object-oriented Java, delving into database design, or wiring microcontroller peripherals in the lab I helped establish. I continuously refresh my teaching with emerging trends in AI, signal processing, and digital-hardware design so that theory is always paired with contemporary practice. Mentorship is central to my philosophy: guiding undergraduate project teams from first concept to final prototype and encouraging them long after graduation remains one of my greatest rewards. Committed to lifelong learning myself, I am currently pursuing doctoral research in biomedical signal processing, channeling that spirit of inquiry back into every lecture, lab, and conversation with the next generation of engineers. |
